Event & Performance
Photography
Share your event with the world.
As someone who’s helped organize dozens of events – from business meetups to arts nights to music festivals – I know there’s a lot to manage on the day of your event. I’ll take care of the photos so you can focus on creating a great experience.
Coverage styles
It’s your event, and I’ll help you cover it in the way that’s best for you.
Front Row
I’ll capture speakers or performers from in front of the stage or from the wings. If you’re looking for a photo to highlight in a company report or on your website, this could be your best bet!
The Experience
I’ll capture the day-of experience with photos from the perspective of an attendee. We’ll talk about the approach you’re looking for – whether you want candid or posed photos (or a mix of both), and whether you’d like me to be off to the side or in the middle of the action.
Receiving Line
Give your guests the red carpet treatment (red carpet not included). As you open your event – or during mingling / networking time – I’ll capture your attendees in front of a neutral backdrop. It’s a great way to generate buzz on social media after the event is complete! (Want a customized, branded backdrop for your event? I can make it happen!)
Participant Profiles
Looking for individual portraits of attendees, competitors, or performers? We can schedule a pre- or post-event spot to capture each person from the day.
Add-ons
Let’s answer your questions.
What should I do to prepare prior to the event?
My goal is to do everything I can to help you have a smooth event. That’s why I put a lot of emphasis on planning prior to the date of the event.
When we decide to work together, I’ll send you a short survey to fill out. I strongly suggest you take a bit of time to fill it out as best as you can! The survey includes questions like:
* Would you like candid shots, posed shots, or a combination of both?
* How visible do you want me to be during the event – right in the middle of everything or off to the side?
* Are there any specific people or shots you’d like me to try to capture?
* How do you expect to use your photos?
I’m also happy to work off of a shot list if you’d like to prepare one.
What will you need from me during the event?
I know from first-hand experience how challenging it can be to juggle everything at an event. That’s why I aim to let you focus on everything else. In many cases, I’ve just said hello to an event organizer when we see each other prior to the event and then catch up after everything’s complete!
I do generally ask for a cell phone number for a contact person. This is for both of our benefit – I can reach you if I have any pressing questions, and you can reach out if there’s something specific you’d like me to catch. (I’m also happy to join a group chat if you’re fancy and have one set up for the event.)
How long will it take to get my photos after the shoot?
I am to process shots from event photography in five business days. Whenever possible, I’ll try to send at least two or three teaser shots a couple of days after the event so that you have something to share on social media or in a newsletter. If you need expedited delivery for all of your photos, include the Rush Processing add-on in your package.
Let’s tell your story.
